Nivedita Roy is a teacher by profession. Presently she teaches in an American Curriculum school in the Kingdom of Bahrain. She belongs to the city of Nawabs, Lucknow, India. Her educational qualifications include M.A. in English Literature and B.Ed. She pursues writing as a passion and loves to express herself through her writings and recital. She is a bilingual poetess cum author.

Her first solo book “Gallery de’heart “released on 15th dec 2020. 
Her Hindi poetry book Komal Ehsas released on 2nd October 2021.
Her 3rd book The Raconteur and other Tales released in January 2023 

She has also co authored 20  anthologies since May 2020 till present.

Over the years, there had been many heartfelt scribbles in random diaries and notepads. During lockdown, some scribbles just flew straight from the heart and found shelter on a newly created Facebook page. Since then there has been no looking back. She started a blog Nexpressions11 on Facebook on May 28 2020.

Nivedita Roy was conferred with INDEPENDENCE DAY GLOBAL LITERARY HONORS  on the 76th Independence Day Literary Award 2021 & 2022 by Motivational Strips, the world’s most active writers forum and Gujarat Sahitya Academy, under the Government of Gujarat. She has received the Rabindranath Tagore Memorial Honor 2022 jointly by Motivational Strips and Sipay National Property of the Department of Culture, Seychelles. She has received Dr. S. Radhakrishnan honours 2021, Mahadevi Verma Memorial Samman and Nari Ratna Samman 2022 By the Gram Today Group. She has been awarded the Sahityakosh Samman 2022 for excellence in Literary Endeavors She has been awarded the Prawasi Bhartiya Shri Sahiyta Samman by Perfect Life Events and Management, Gujarat. 

 

She continues to participate and host many poetry recital sessions virtually on various online platforms. She often hosts  Book Talk shows for published authors virtually. Her poems are published in many newspapers and sites in India, Bahrain, Argentina, US, and other countries. 

Her inspiration is her late father whom she held in high esteem. She is in love with life and faces each day as a challenge.
